Explanation:
A token is generated when a customer adds items to cart and proceeds to checkout. Hence, having a token against the order is not a guarantee that an Afterpay order is created and approved.
Only approved orders will be settled to your nominated bank account.
Action:
Please check the order status in the WooCommerce Orders dashboard to further investigate.
If the status shows “Pending Payment”, we can confirm that the order has not been approved or declined.
- This means that if a customer selects Afterpay at checkout but does not proceed to log in to their customer account, or if they log in but do not confirm the payment within the portal, the Afterpay system won't be able to send a response to your WooCommerce system. Consequently, the order status will remain "Pending Payment."
If the order status has moved to ‘Processing’, we can confirm that an approved response has been received.
Note: Every approved order will be visible in the Afterpay Merchant Hub > Orders. A confirmation can be made by checking the merchant hub order status.
