Before moving forward with adding Cash App Afterpay Messaging, please make sure you have already added Cash App Afterpay at checkout on your Shopify store by confirming Cash App Afterpay is visible and functioning at checkout. You cannot use the Cash App Afterpay messaging without first adding Cash App Afterpay at checkout successfully.

Cash App Afterpay has two implementation options available for Shopify merchants to display Cash App Afterpay messaging: 

  • Cash App Afterpay On-site Messaging App
    • This Shopify app is designed to easily allow you to configure Cash App Afterpay messaging on your website through your Shopify store’s UI.

  • Manually Add Cash App Afterpay Site Messaging to Theme
    • The Cash App Afterpay code snippet allows you to manually add Cash App Afterpay messaging to the product and cart pages. You do this by copy-pasting the Cash App Afterpay messaging code snippet into your Shopify liquid template file.
